Veterinary Surgeon and Clinic Owner
Linda Glenn MVB MRCVS
Linda is a local girl, living in Bangor with her 2 standard wire haired dachshunds, Nzuri and Matata. Growing up in the Ulster Folk Museum where her father was the Caretaker, Linda attended Glencraig Primary School and Glenlola, and qualified from UCD in 1984. Her son, Owen was introduced to practice life as a baby and rather than being put off, qualified himself as a Vet from Glasgow University in 2017.

After working in a local practice for 7 years, Linda established the Glenn Veterinary Clinic in 1991 with 2 trainee Veterinary Nurses.

Veterinary Surgeon
Rachel Heenan BSc DVM MRCVS
Rachel graduated from St. George's University, Grenada, West Indies in 2008, having spent her final clinical year at Edinburgh University. She initially started her career in North Yorkshire in a mixed animal practice but soon discovered her main interests lay in small animal practice. She quickly developed a love of all things surgical and started studying in April 2014 for a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice which she completed in 2016.

After 7 years in Yorkshire, Rachel decided to head closer to home and joined us at Glenn in October 2016. Rachel hit the ground running and has enjoyed meeting new clients 2, 3 and 4 legged alike. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys walking her Labradors Bert and Otto, and travelling.
